What it looks like when maths starts to click.

The areas I have most improved at school because of Lynn's Learning are my times tables and NAPLAN.

Common questions

Common maths questions.

Will my child catch up if they're behind?

Yes — that's the most common reason families come to us. The free assessment shows us exactly where the gaps are. From there, we rebuild the foundations your child needs while keeping them moving forward on current curriculum work. Many parents see calmer homework and growing confidence within the first two weeks; real academic progress shows in the first two months.

Will my child still be challenged if they're already ahead?

Absolutely. Lynn's pitches work where your child actually is, not where their year-level textbook says they should be. Many of our long-term students go on to complete work well above their grade level. We extend confidently without skipping the depth.

Does Lynn's maths replace school maths or complement it?

Complement. Lynn's follows the same Victorian and Australian curricula your child's school uses, so the skills they build with us are the same skills they need at school. But we don't simply rehearse what their class did that week — we pitch their work precisely where they need to grow next. The result is deeper mastery that shows up across their schoolwork over time.

What about times tables and mental maths?

Built in. Mental maths fluency genuinely underpins everything that comes later. Years 3–6 students get times-tables work as part of their personalised programme, locked in alongside the other priorities.

How long is each class, and what does it cost?

One hour per week, in centre, for $40 — with all worksheets, weekly homework and marking included. If your child also does English, sessions run back-to-back (for example, 4–6pm or 5–7pm).

Do you prepare for NAPLAN?

NAPLAN is a snapshot of the same Australian Curriculum we already teach, so children on the maths programme are practising the underlying skills NAPLAN tests every week. We'll work in extra exam-style practice in the lead-up if your child needs it.
